Story: A weird story, the tale begins with one man named Common Man (srikanth) and he is busy going about preaching about rights and how the politicians must live like common people. In this process, he slaps the ministers (kota, chalapathi rao, tanikella) and also kidnaps the chief minister's daughter (sanjjanaa) and a news correspondent Sunitha (tashu). Despite doing all this, he roams around freely on the streets preaching about justice and rules. A flashback is involved in this and it goes to show the helplessness of the system towards him. Who is this common man? What is his objective? Is he successful or not forms the rest of the story.
Presentation: The director has come up with a rotten storyline and while the presentation was poor, the narrative was irregular. The dialogues were crass, the script was written with only flaws and the screenplay was way below average. Background score was weak and not much from songs. Cinematography was so-so. Editing was required during critical situations. Costumes were moderate while the art department was matching the situations. Srikanth is a misfit to the role but then he gave a sincere attempt to it. Tashu Kaushik was commendable and makes her presence felt, her body language was positive. Sanjjanaa was just okay. Kota was usual, Tanikella was neat, Krishna Bhagawan was casual. The others did their bit as required.
Conclusion: Right from the word go, the film gets into a turmoil situation and the logic of the protagonist goes way beyond the heads of the regular audience. While the first half goes about with the irrelevant realism and gross problems, the second half gets more serious and reveals something even more unbearable. Overall, this is a major pain to the audience and it is impossible for the film to survive even for a week.

Stylish Star Allu Arjun, Fair beauty Tamannaah starrer Badrinath is gearing up to hit the big-screens on 10th June. Badrinath is the first Telugu film to be released simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam versions.
It is known that Allu Arjun enjoys a huge fan base in Kerala and all his films get dubbed into Malayalam too. The latest update is the Malayalam rights of Badrinath have been sold out for a record price of Rs 1.10 crores. Rathak Films have acquired the dubbing rights of Badrinath and is releasing the film on a large scale in Kerala.
Allu Arjun is now extending his market to Tamilnadu by releasing the Tamil version of the Badrinath extensively in Kollywood. The Geetha Arts production house has tied up with Red Giant movies to release Badrinath in Tamilnadu and to add the Tamil flavor to the film, the makers have picturised few scenes on Allu Arjun and kollywood comedian Santhanam.
V.V.Vinayak has directed the film and Allu Aravind produced it on Geetha Arts banner. Keeravani composed the music.
NTR.Jr’s next film in the direction of Surender Reddy is currently being shot in Hyderabad. Tamannah is playing the female lead while Harika alias Payal Ghosh of Prayanam fame has been roped in for the second leading lady role in the film. The major schedules of the film have been already wrapped up. Earlier, there has been buzz that Oosaravelli is the title confirmed for the film and even the logos and the printed photographs of NTR with the title Oosaravelli were out.
However, neither the producer BVSN Prasad nor the director Surender Reddy nor the film leading cast NTR or Tamannah has revealed the title as Oosaravelli. The makers have now informed that Oosaravelli haven’t been confirmed yet and it is one of the options among all the other considerations. The makers are yet to announce the title.

Vaishali directed by Shankar’s associate Arivazhagan is a crime thriller that makes you glue to the screens with an interesting storyline. The movie features Sindhu Menon, Aadhi, Nandha in the main roles while Srinath, Saranya Mohan and Lakshmi Ramakrishnan played the other important roles. Director informs that Vaishali is a seat-edge thriller on super-natural elements.
Story:
Vasu (Aadhi) is an ACP and is called to investigate a case on suicide of Ramya (Sindhu Menon) who is a young house wife and lives in a posh apartment. Vasu gets shocked seeing the body of his ex-lover. The story progresses with intermix of flashback scenes of their love and the current investigation. Vasu and Ramya meet each other in their college days and falls in love but fail to enter the wed-lock as Ramya’s father opposes. Ramya later marries a businessman Bala (Nandha), and looks like they are leading a happy life until she committed suicide. The rays of suspicion fall on Bala (Nandha) and the neighbors. Meanwhile, four murders take place in the same apartment and Vasu gets to know the shocking revelations during his investigation. What are those revelations and shocking scenes has to be watched on the big-screens.
Performances:
Aadhi did a great job in the film and has delivered a remarkable performance. He fits the bill well as a suave cop. His looks and body language are apt and credible. Sindhu Menon’s characterization is well-written and presented. She has got into the skin of the character as a middle class girl. Saranya Mohan is convincing while Nandha in a negative role outshines. Other cast has done their bit as required.
Technical Analysis:
Thaman’s music is definitely a plus for the film and full-marks to the background score of the film. Cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa is outstanding. He has captured the film on different color tone as major scenes in the film are filled with water which is an asset to Vaishali. The SFX team deserves a special mention for their good job. Arivazhagan came up with brilliant storyline but the presentation of the film is a bit confusing. Screenplay is mediocre and you might have seen few of the scenes in many other thrillers which is a minus to Vaishali. Editing in the second-half of the film could have been better by trimming off few scenes.
Analysis:
Vaishali is a supernatural psychological thriller and is innovative regarding the concept. But the director has mixed up the love story in the flashback, which leads to a confusion in the storyline, as at one point of time you might think if u have come for a love story film. Nevertheless, Vaishali have its entertaining elements in the form of thrills and few twists and twirls in the story. Well, Dil Raju needs to be praised for bringing on a distinct film from the routine stuff to the Telugu movie lovers.

Now, the latest news is the production cum distribution house has also acquired the entire A.P theatrical rights of NTR, Surender Reddy’s combo tentatively titled as Oosaravelli.
RR Makers are said to have acquire the rights for a fancy price of 27 Crores. B.V.S.N Prasad is producing the film on Sri Venkatestwara Cine Chitra banner and the movie is lasted for a release in September. Tamannah is playing the female lead while Harika alias Payal Ghosh is playing second fiddle to her. The film is touted as an action-packed entertainer.
Richa Gangopadhyaya, who has made her entry in Tollywood and acted in films like Leader, Nagavalli and Mirapakaya, is now stepping into Kollywood to mark her entry by bagging a couple of big banner projects.
Richa is all set to pair up with Simbhu in the Tamil film Osthi, which is the remake of Bollywood blockbuster Dabangg. Besides that, Richa is also set to romance Dhanush in a film ‘Irandam Ulagam’. Though the actress failed to earn good offers in Tollywood, Richa is all happy by bagging two big films opposite two big heroes of Kollywood.

Just a couple of hours back, there has been news that Vijayawada police has cancelled the permission for the shooting of Ram Gopal Varma’s Bejawada Rowdilu following an appeal by a group of lawyers from the city. Bejawada Rowdilu has hit the controversy as the welfare organizations alleged RGV was trying to portray the conflicts that took place in Vijayawada, between two rivalry groups in 1980s that might now re-ignite the caste wars.
However, Ram Gopal Varma has released a press note in the afternoon stating that the first schedule of Bejawada Rowdilu has been wrapped up and so the unit members have returned back to Hyderabad.
“We have wrapped up the first schedule in the Vijayawada and so moved to Hyderabad for filming the new schedules as the earlier designed plan. The entire film will be completed by August and the film will hit the screens for Dussera,” said RGV.
Bejawada Rowdilu has Naga Chaitanya playing the lead role and Vivek, a debutant is wielding the megaphone. The female lead for the film hasn’t been finalized yet.
Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna’s dream project Gundello Godavari has started its pre-production works and is gearing up to start its shooting shortly. Raja, a debutant who is an associate to Krishna Vamsi is marking his entry in Tollywood with this film.
The latest reports say Allari Naresh has accepted to play a vital role in the film. Lakshmi Prasanna is busy in finalizing the cast and crew of the film and she is said to have narrated a role to Naresh for which the latter have given his nod. The producer turned actress will be seen as a village girl in the film. Maestro Ilayaraja has been roped in to score the music for the film. Gundello Godavari is being made under the banner Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures.
The hot and happening actress Kajal Agarwal is going strong in Kollywood too, besides Tollywood. The Tamil version of Magadheera titled Maaveeran is hitting the screens on 27th May, this Friday. Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma’s controversial film Bejawada Rowdilu is currently facing troubles from the organizations in Vijayawada. The Organizations are demanding for a ban on Bejawada Rowdilu.
Sarvodaya, an organization has met Amit Garg, the Police commissioner of Vijayawada and urged them to halt the shooting of the film, which is currently being shot in the same city. They complained that Varma is making the real life story that happened 20 years ago, between two groups leaded by Vangaveeti Radha and Devineni Nehru. The organizations are in a fear that the film might reignite the fight between groups again.
On the other hand, Varma is not wielding megaphone for the film but he is only producing it along with Kiran Kumar Koneru. Vikram Krishna is the director and Naga Chaitanya is playing the lead role.
Nani, Nitya Menon’s second combo film Sega is gearing up to hit the big-screens in the month of June. Sega is a bilingual flick being made in Telugu and Tamil versions, being directed by a lady director Anjana and produced by Ashok Vallabhaneni on Mana Desam Movies banner.
Currently, the post-production works of the film are under progress. The audio composed by Joshua Sridhar has recently hit the markets through Aditya Music and is earning positive buzz. Speaking to media, director Nandini Reddy said, “Anjana is a talented director and I feel happy that she is making her debut with a bilingual film. Sega is quite different from Ala Modalaindi and every scene in the film is exciting and heart-touching. She tried to impress the mass audience in a class style.”

Days ago, there has been news that Ram Charan and Allu Arjun are acting together for a film in Vamsi Paidipalli’s and it would be the biggest multi-starrer in the recent times. The news has created lots of excitement among the mega fans as the two mega heroes are pairing up. But, Ram Charan has informed that they are just rumors and Allu Arjun is not the part of the project.

Nithin, Meera Chopra’s Maaro with a tagline ‘Violent but silent’ is finally seeing the light of the day. The film which went onto floors long back has faced many troubles for its release. The film-makers have decided to release the film on 4th June.
Nithin will be seen as IIT graduate in the film and Meera Chopra is playing the female lead. Maaro is taking shape in the hands of Malayalam director Siddique while Mamidala Srinivas and Venu M Konde have produced the film on Sri Rajeshwari films banner. Mani Sharma composed the music.
Mahesh, Samantha starrer Dhookudu is progressing at a brisk pace and the makers are planning to release the film in July. The unit has recently returned back from Switzerland and Dubai schedules and the next schedule will begin shortly in Hyderabad.

Director S.S.Rajamouli left to Kolkata scouting the locales for one of his forthcoming films and in the meantime, he landed on the sets of Pawan Kalyan, Vishnuvardhan’s film tentatively titled as Shadow. The major schedule of the film is being shot in Kolkata.
Since Pawan Kalyan was given off for the day from shoot, the maverick director could not meet the Power Star. But Rajamouli, who has seen few movie stills says that Vishnuvardhan is doing outstanding job and the stills are quite impressive.
Sarah Jane Dias and Anjali Lavania are the leading ladies in the film, being produced by Neelima Tirumalasetti and Shobu Yarlagadda under Sangamithra Arts and Arka Media banners.
Kajal Agarwal, who has been riding high in Tollywood with a hat-trick of hits Darling, Brindavanam and Mr.Perfect has now faced a mega flop with Veera. Ravi Teja, Kajal starrer Veera that has hit the big screens on Friday has received bad reviews unanimously and was declared as disaster at the Box-Office.
Kajal Agarwal played a village lad in the film just like her previous flicks Brindavanam and Mr.Perfect. Though Kajal’s acting skills were praises by the critics, it is only because of routine story and weak narration, Veera was declared as flop. After a stream of hits, Kajal has to taste the dud in the form of Veera.
However, the top league actress has no worries as she has already bagged several big banner projects in her kitty. Kajal signed up The Buisness Man opposite Mahesh and Gabbar Singh opposite Pawan Kalyan. The pretty actress is also making her entry into Bollywood with the remake of Suriya, Anushka starrer Singham.
Gossip winery is abuzz that the real life couple Allu Arjun and Sneha Reddy set to act together. Well, it’s not for any featured film but for a commercial ad.
After the grand wedding of the couple, Allu Arjun and Sneha turned out to be the hot and beautiful pair. To cash this, a famous MNC is said to have convinced Sneha Reddy with great difficulty, to pair with Bunny and become their brand ambassador.
As per the sources, the shooting of the commercial ad is likely to commence soon. Well, we have earlier seen the real life couples Abhishek and Aishwarya, Suriya and Jyothika endorsing for brands. If the buzz becomes true, we will soon see Allu Arjun and Sneha Reddy pair on screen.

Nagarjuna’s high budget socio-fantasy film Damarukam is gearing up to kick-start its new schedule in Chelukudi Water falls in Kerala from 6th June. Earlier a schedule has been completed in Switzerland in the month of March, where a song has been shot on the lead cast Nagarjuna and Anushka in Raju Sundaram’s Choreography.
Damarukam is being directed by Srinivas Reddy and produced by Venkat under his RR Movie Makers banner. Devi Sri Prasad is zeroed in to score the music. Damarukam is highest budget film so far in Nagarjuna’s career and the actor will be seen in four different get-ups in the film. Director Srinivas Reddy is crafting the movie as visual extravaganza with nearly 50 minutes of amazing visual effects
Malayalam Super hit film Bodyguard is being remade in Tollywood with Victory Venkatesh and pretty actress Trisha in the lead roles. This is the third time Venky and Trisha are pairing up for a film after AMAV and Namo Venkatesa. Bodygurad has been also remade in Tamil with Vijay and Asin in the leads that earned success at the BO.
The regular shooting of the Telugu version has been started from Sunday and the entire shoot will be wrapped up in this single schedule. As per the sources Trisha will join the sets from 26th May. The yet-to-be titled film is taking shape in the hands of Gopichand Malineni, who has earlier directed Don Seenu. Bellamkonda Suresh is producing the film under Sri Sai Ganesh Productions banner and Thaman is composing the music. The film has Kona Venkat story and Chota.K.Naidu’s cinematography.
It is known that the Southern Stud Siddharth has signed up a film in Dil Raju’s production and the film has been titled as Oh My Friend. Shruti Haasan is playing the female lead in the film while Hansika is roped in for another important role.
Dil Raju has earlier considered Anil as the music director for the film but the sudden demise of Anil made Dil Raju opt for another music director Rahul Raj, who marks his entry in Tollywood with this project. Rahul Raj already had an experience in films and is said to have composed music for 10 Malayalam films. Oh My Friend is taking shape in the hands of a debutant director Venu Sriram.
The Celebrity Cricket League between the North and South Indian actors Bollywood, Tollywood, Kollywood and Sandalwood is turning out to be interesting. The Stars from all the film industries are taking the CCL seriously to win the cup and are busy in practice sessions. While the teams will play six league matches that start from 4th June, only two of the teams will reach the finals.

Vikram, Anushka starrer Naanna audio launch was held on Saturday evening (May 21, 2011) at Prasad Labs Preview Theater in Hyderabad. Titled as Deiva Thirumagal in Tamil, the movie is being dubbed into Telugu version.
Actors Vikram, Anushka, Amala Paul, child actress Sara, director Vijay, producer Mohan Nataraj, and music director G V Prakash Kumar participated at the launch while directors Krish, Karunakaran and V V Vinayak are the chief guests of the event. Vinayak unveiled the first copy of CD and presented it to Karunakaran and Krish.
Speaking on the event Vikram said that though he has done several complex role flicks like Naanna, this film would remain as special one for him. Director Vijay showered praises on Anushka for her performance and compared her with the evergreen actresses Savitri and Suhasini. Anushka informed that she is happy being part of such a good film Naanna.
Prince Mahesh Babu’s Dhookudu has wrapped up the Switzerland schedule after filming few action scenes and a song on the lead pair. The unit has landed in Dubai for the latest schedule that will go on for a couple of days 20th and 21st May.
The unit members will later return to Hyderabad and start a fresh schedule in the city from 25th May. Mahesh Babu is playing the role of a Police informer in the film while Samantha is playing his lady love.
Dhookudu is being directed by Srinu Vytla and produced by Anil Sunkara, Gopinath Achanta and Ram Achanta on the banner of 14 Reels Entertainment . Thaman is scoring the music. Dhookudu is likely to hit the screens in August.

Rana’s new film titled Naa Ishtam under the direction of a debutant Prakash Tholeti is currently filming in Ramanaidu Studios at Nanakramguda in Hyderabad. The shoot has begun recently and, Rana & Genelia along with the other cast are participating in the schedule.
Meanwhile, the film-makers have planned its next schedule at Malaysia for 40 days. So, the unit members are gearing up to fly to Malaysia for filming few vital scenes and a couple of songs. Naa Ishtam is a romantic comedy entertainer, being produced Paruchuri Kireeti on the banner of United Movies. Kireeti has earlier produced super hit Simha with Bala Krishna. Chakris is scoring the music for the film.
Na Ishtam is equally important to Rana and Genelia as the duo need a hit to bounce back in Tollywood. Hope Naa Ishtam clicks at the ticket windows and brings Rana and Genelia much needed break and luck.

The movie will be directed by Vasu Varma, who earlier directed Josh in Dil Raju’s production. The latest buzz is Thaman has been roped in to compose the music for the film and the music sittings are being done in Hyderabad regarding this new project.
